A Longstanding Success Story
Founded more than 40 years ago, item österreich has developed from an office supplier to a company operating far beyond its borders with more than 300 employees.
Item österreich grew out of two different pedigrees: item 2000, founded in November 1979 by Gerald Dobuch, and from GH EDV Zubehör Höglinger HandelsgmbH, founded in September 1991 by Gudrun Höglinger. In 2003, the two companies were merged and have since been responsible for commercial customers in Austria under the name “item österreich” as part of the item Group.
The item Philosophy
As a regional IT system house, we focus on document digitization, IT workplaces and MPS – Managed Print Service. With our specialization and cross-manufacturer orientation, we enable high availability and stability. In addition, we optimize our customer’s work processes with our unique solutions. They can fully concentrate on their core business while saving time and money.
